Multiple Sclerosis
Treatment
There is no cure for multiple sclerosis. The goal of MS treatment is to slow the progression of the disease, relieve symptoms, and minimize the effects of acute attacks. MS may not decrease the lifespan of those who have it, but it frequently and intermittently affects their quality of life. Patients usually work with a team of professionals that helps support and monitor their condition and address their changing needs.
